Appointed by Balluku/ The Director of the Port of Durres is being questioned by the Kosovo Special Prosecution Office

Former Minister of Environment, Spatial Planning and Infrastructure of Kosovo, Liburn Aliu, has been questioned by the Kosovo Special Prosecution Office.

Aliu, who is currently the Director of the Port of Durres, appointed about a year ago by former Deputy Prime Minister and former Minister of Infrastructure and Energy, Belinda Balluku, appeared with his lawyer.

According to media in Kosovo, Liburn Aliu is being questioned in connection with a suspected case of abuse of official duty while he was a minister in the Kurti Government, a position he held until August 2025, when he resigned.
