Accident in Lezha, truck hits and kills 59-year-old man

An accident occurred a little while ago on the Thumanë-Milot axis.

A 59-year-old man riding a moped was fatally struck by a truck. Police say the truck driver has been taken to the police station.

At around 15:00, on the "Thumanë-Milot" road axis, the truck driven by citizen BD, 35 years old, collided with the moped driven by citizen LB, around 59 years old, who lost his life as a result.

Citizen BD was accompanied to the Lezha Police Station for further procedural actions.

Meanwhile, the investigation team continues to work to clarify the circumstances of the accident.
