AMP arrests police officer in Tirana, caused an accident while drunk

The Police Supervision Agency (Tirana Region) has arrested in flagrante delicto the police officer M. Ç., on duty as a Service Bodyguard in the Alpine Operational Section of the Tirana Public Security Unit, suspected of committing the criminal offense of "Irregular Driving".
According to the AMP, his arrest was carried out after on March 12, while driving his vehicle on "Reshit Petrela" street, he collided with an Audi vehicle driven by citizen NG, who has received medical treatment at the QSUT and is currently out of danger.
"The verification with the alcohol test resulted positive at 0.62 mg/l," AMP reports.
The procedural materials have been referred to the Prosecutor's Office at the Tirana Court of First Instance.
