The Albanian is arrested/ This is how he tried to cross from Spain to Ireland

The agents of the National Police have arrested an Albanian who was trying to take a flight to Ireland, trying to cross with an Italian passport, which belonged to another person.

The arrested person tried to bypass the security measures at the exit control of the Elche-Alicante Miguel Hernández airport, presenting himself to the police officers with stolen and manipulated documentation.

Ireland, despite being a country in the European Union, did not sign the Schengen agreement and, like Cyprus, requires access after passing a border control.

The incident happened a few days ago when a man approached the security line to enter one of the flights to Ireland. When he arrived at the airport's departures control, he tried to pass by handing in an Italian passport in someone else's name.

The agents of the National Police have discovered something strange in the Italian passport presented by this person. When they interviewed him, they could observe that his non-verbal language did not correspond to the communication he was trying to convey. The police suspected that he might be hiding something, so they intensified the surveillance of the man and the documents he was carrying.

They carry out the relevant procedures related to a possible crime of falsification of documents, conducting a person check. He also had an Italian identity card and driving license. The National Police has carried out the first control of the documents and was able to find anomalies in them.

DOCUMENTS

It was discovered that some of the documents carried by the suspected perpetrator were fake. Specifically, the driver's license and identity card were completely forged, but the passport with which he was identified was only partially tampered with. They also learned that this documentation had been stolen in Italy a few months earlier.
