Ardit Kraja, a 49-year-old businessman from Shkodran, was arrested on Tuesday evening in Kosovo, known as one of the "bosses" of gambling in Albania, where he was the owner of the company "Superbast".

He was stopped at the border point in Vërmica and after the verification it turned out that two arrest warrants were issued against him issued by two courts in Kosovo.

More specifically from the Basic Court in Prizren and the Basic Court in Mitrovica due to the well-founded suspicion that he committed the criminal offense of "Organization of pyramid schemes and illegal gambling".

After the arrest, against the businessman Kraja, the Court of Mitrovica imposed an arrest warrant for 48 hours until the moment when he appears before the court to familiarize himself with the security measure.

"Gazeta Insajderi", referring to sources close to the investigation being carried out against Ardi Kraja, has learned that he has a case filed in Suhareka, where he is suspected of having carried out illegal activities "illegal gambling organization", which falls under the responsibility of Court of Prizren, and a case in Mitrovica that falls under the respective responsibility of the Basic Court in this city. For both cases there was an order against Kraja from both courts.

These sources have told the Kosovar media that Ardit Kraja was giving the online program, including the link and operation codes, to the citizens of Kosovo, but not himself, and even investing in their businesses. Ardit Kraja, the workers of this crime in Kosovo would take responsibility in case of losses - so if a player won, the loss was taken over by Kraja, while if the players lost, 60 percent of the profit was taken by Kraja.

According to these sources, this was one of the providers of this gambling service in Kosovo, which for several years has been completely illegal in the country, while it was not the only one, as there are other providers of the program, links and codes for gambling players in Kosovo who do this activity online.

The Kosovar media also reports on the stories of the businessman Ardit Rada in Albania, on his companies and the clashes with Ervis Martinaj regarding the "war" on gambling in Albania.

Also, Ardit Rada has been talked about in the media about the pink story with the moderator Ilda Bejleri, where they are already a couple and for more than a year they have become parents of a girl, whom they have named Siena.

The Kosovo Police had received information that a group of people had been meeting together in an office in Pristina for weeks. According to the sources, at first the investigators were not clear about what the group was meeting for, but a preliminary investigation was launched.

On the morning of March 24, 2021, they received permission, given only verbally, from a pretrial judge to enter this property.

The investigation would then reveal that the purpose of their meetings was the coordination of illegal gambling that had begun to flourish since every form of gambling was banned in the Republic of Kosovo.

On that day, handcuffs would be put on Skerdi Fero, Sokol Stafaj, Alban Peti, Lulzim Paqarada, Fidan Hoxha, Gasper Kačinari, Jozef Gjin, Fisnik Sadrijat, Flakron Kurtesh and Rrezarta Miftaraj. There is also an indictment against these persons, a copy of which is in possession of the Insajderi newspaper.

The Prosecutor's Office file reveals that the group for a relatively short period of less than a quarter, from January to half of March 2021, had circulated so much money with illegal gambling that the numbers are in the millions.

"...only for January, February and 15 days of March of 2021, the loss caused to Kosovar society by this criminal offense amounts to €5,668,584.08, while the profit of the organizers was €947,724.65", this is how the Prosecutor of the case, Merita, describes Bina-Rogova created this group.

The group, according to the Prosecutor's Office, had roles and tasks divided quite clearly in the hierarchy. Someone in the regions within the Republic of Kosovo, and someone in coordination with the Republic of Albania.

The defendant Sokol Stafa, according to the Prosecutor's Office, worked as a coordinator of the Kosovo-Albania games of chance. Gaspër Kaçinari as director in this group. Rrzarta Miftaraj as treasurer. The defendant Skerdi Fero as the main manager, while the defendants Alban Peti, Lulzim Paqarada, Fidan Hoxha, Fisnik Sadija, Jozef Gjini, Flakron Kurteshi, Dardan Arifi, Boban Stevanovic and Taulant Palushi had the roles of regional managers within the organization that was involved in illegal gambling .

Although after the investigations the Prosecutor's Office no longer follows the track of the "organized crime" investigation, the indictment states that the accused in this case once worked for the bookies of the businessman from Albania, Ardit Kraja, and after April 2019 when gambling in Kosovo they simply continued with the same activities", states the Prosecution.

"On the occasion of the inspection of the betting premises, in Pristina, "Venet Bajrami" street, dated On 24.03.2021, many electronic devices, phones, computers, as well as security camera recordings were seized in that apartment, which was used as an office for this criminal group," the indictment states.

The prosecution says that it connects the accused with their recordings in the apartment that they were using as an illegal betting office.

In this particular case, the defendants have committed the qualifying form of the criminal offense for which I am accused, i.e. illegal gambling, it is stated in the indictment and it is once again known that according to the calculations of this institution "in less than 3 months, the Kosovar society of "damage much greater than €25,000 was caused, with the exact amount of €5,668,584.08, while the profit of the organizers was €947,724.65".
