The sub-prefect of Bulqiza, Avni Muliu, said that the forces of the Operational Unit for extinguishing the fires have been working for a week, but it was impossible to extinguish them completely due to the difficult terrain and large trees.
Muliu said that the fire may be intentional and asks that the perpetrator be found. On the other hand, he says that only intervention from the air stops the great damage in this area, which is the only one untouched in Bulqiza.
