Ylli Rakipi : You made all the efforts. You got the votes. You even danced to the song for the doctor. So you did everything but the doctor pushed you. Why?
Jorida Tabaku : I don't know what he thinks, but I will say how I perceived it. I have been privileged with many opportunities that have been given to me in politics. To represent in the Municipality, in Parliament, in Commissions, I have had many opportunities. I have another challenge, it could be an electoral challenge, an electoral strategy. The lists are as they are, not a facade, people with contributions. It does not mean that someone measures their work, with an electoral cycle. Work and contribution are extended over time. They are measured by public service, the public good and I think I have done it. For the primaries, I entered a challenge where the Democrats welcomed me. I have been part of the structures since I was 16 years old.
Ylli Rakipi: We very much agree with this, but people who have no connection have entered there.
Jorida Tabaku : That's how the list was thought of, I had a long discussion with Mr. Berisha about this issue. I modestly said that I thought I would be on a closed list, but it's a challenge. I entered to win, the system is very difficult.
Ylli Rakipi : Poor Dash Sula said, "They want to take my votes and prevent me from becoming an MP, then I'll leave."
Jorida Tabaku: I have expressed a different opinion in the Democratic Party.
Ylli Rakipi: Maybe that's why you went to the open list? You went straight to the open sea...
Jorida Tabaku: I don't take it with any kind of complex or residual pleasure. This period has also served me. Many people have shown me support. It seemed to me that perhaps injustice has been done to me and I am taking this challenge to see it from the perspective of my growth. I will be in parliament because there are all the possibilities. I will do my best, I have the support of the DP, the structures and a wider group, who have been talked to about the economy, the liberal professions, have been denounced corruption and so on.
Ylli Rakipi : You're not outraged that you won the primaries and aren't on the list?
Jorida Tabaku: If there was someone who received fewer votes than me in the primaries, it would be right to be indignant, but all those on the closed list are for functions, allies, and so on. The question is, should we use the primaries properly? We did a process that was not implemented for the Tirana list.
Ylli Rakipi : Coming from the core of the DP, I don't like to tell you that the allies should not have a place before you.
