One of the members of a criminal group that committed thefts in Fushë Krujë has been arrested.
The citizen with the initials LK, 33 years old, who was wanted by the police two days ago, has been arrested. Two others, suspected of the same criminal offense, have also been wanted.
"A member of the group, who was declared wanted 2 days ago, is located, captured and put in handcuffs."
During the first phase of the operation, 4 members of the group were arrested and 2 thefts they had committed were uncovered.
As a result of checks based on police intelligence, the services of the Krujë Police Commissariat, in cooperation with the services of the Police Commissariat No. 5, detained citizen LK, 33 years old, resident of Kamzë.
He was declared wanted on 02.04.2025, as part of the "Formation" operation, because it is suspected that, in collaboration with 6 other citizens, they stole from 2 businesses in Fushë Krujë, on March 27 and 28, 2025.
Work is underway to capture 2 other citizens wanted in the framework of the operation, as well as to uncover other thefts that these citizens may have committed.
"The procedural materials were referred to the Tirana Prosecutor's Office for further action," the police statement said.
