Katy Perry is going to the Moon! Part of the all-female crew on Jeff Bezos' spaceship

Pop star Katy Perry and five other women are set for a historic flight to the moon. This is the 31st flight of the New Shepard spacecraft and the first to be with an all-female crew since 1963 when Russian astronaut Valentina Tereshkova went into space alone.
Katy Perry realizes her dream by embarking on a historic flight to the moon.
The 40-year-old singer will go on the "New Shepard" rocket of the Blue Origin company, owned by billionaire Jeff Bezos, where the crew also includes the billionaire's fiancée, Lauren Sanchez, engineer Aisha Bowe, journalist Gayle King, a producer and a well-known activist.
In an image posted on social media, the girls were all dressed in blue suits and makeup ready for flight.
Not only that, but Lauren's associates have also provided some spicy details to the New York Times.
Sanchez has thought of everything and even called Kim Kardashian to get Skims underwear for her friends to go to space dressed in style.
Katy Perry will become the first pop star to go into space.
"I've always been interested in astrophysics, astronomy, astrology and the stars. We are made of stardust and we come from the stars," she told foreign media.
This will be the 31st flight of the New Shepard spacecraft and the first to be with an all-female crew since 1963.
The flight is expected to last about 11 minutes and will pass over the Kármán line, 100 kilometers above the Earth's surface, which is considered the international boundary of space.
The rocket is completely autonomous and requires no pilots.
The crew will experience several moments of weightlessness before the capsule returns to Earth with the help of parachutes, while the booster will land on its own about two miles from the launch site.
