"Daily Mail" / "The links of Dritan Rexhepi and Albanian criminal organizations with international mafias are unraveled"

The British tabloid "Daily Mail" in an article published today explained in detail how Europe has become the world capital of cocaine trafficking.
"Cocaine seizures in Europe surpassed those in North America for the first time in 2019 and are on the rise, with a record 303 tonnes seized in 2021," writes the British tabloid.
The article also mentions one of the most dangerous Albanian people, Dritan Rexhepi, who acted as a mediator on behalf of two Albanian criminal organizations.
"Italian prosecutors said that Rexhepi had access to 'endless amounts of cocaine'." It is reported that he escaped in January" , writes "Daily Mail".
The Bello Company is known as a network of criminal organizations led by 'capo' Dritan Rexhepi, an Albanian, who was arrested in 2020 in a coordinated raid in Europe and the Middle East.
The Kinahans, known associates of the Camorra family and an Albanian-led consortium are believed to be among twenty European criminal groups involved in the smuggling operation.
Cocaine originates from the dreaded Colombian Gulf clan, or Clan del Golfo.
The clan has a fearsome reputation for violence, has established international links with other criminal groups, including the Albanian mafia, and is thought to supply up to 70 percent of the world's cocaine.
"The del Golfo clan is so powerful that the US government has designated it as one of the 5 most sophisticated transnational organized crime groups in the world, despite the fact that its leader known as 'Otoniel' has been sentenced to 45 years in prison in USA", writes the Daily Mail.
