Irena Gjoka's conviction in Greece/ The Supreme Court of Kosovo by majority vote rejects the establishment of the commission, transfers the judge's case to the ILD

The Supreme Court of Justice (KLGJ) has rejected the establishment of a commission on the case of Judge Irena Gjoka by a majority vote, and has referred the case to the High Inspectorate of Justice. Judge Irena Gjoka is under investigation for an undeclared conviction in Greece.
The General Prosecutor's Office forwarded the materials to the government of the judiciary, which must decide whether Irena Gjoka is in the conditions for being banned from exercising the office of judge, because it turns out that she did not declare in the decriminalization form a conviction of the Greek justice system in 2005 for using a forged visa.
The member of the Special Court was denounced by former Prime Minister Sali Berisha for concealing the criminal conviction in Greece and later he also published the document of the Greek court on Irena Gjoka. The denunciations and accusations against her began after she signed the security measures for the leader of the DP for the Partizani file, where Berisha is a defendant on the charge of corruption committed in collaboration.
According to the decision of the Ioannina court, Gjoka was sentenced to a month in prison and a 1,500 euro fine for using a forged visa. SPAK has opened an investigation into the case on charges of forging the decriminalization form.
