8 members of the criminal group are sentenced, including 3 Albanians

British authorities have jailed eight members of a criminal gang. The gang was busted after they were caught trafficking large quantities of cocaine. Three Albanians are among those arrested. The group was led by two brothers, Warren Allison, who was jailed for 23 years, and his brother, Kelroy Allison, who was jailed for 16.5 years. The two members of the group tried to flee Britain to avoid arrest, with police explaining that Warren Allison had bought a Lamborghini with his “illegal earnings”.
The gang bought drugs in bulk and used encrypted communication networks to sell in small quantities. They provided a specially modified vehicle for a trusted driver – Richard Cowell, 57. Admitting that he had also acted as a courier for other criminal groups, he was jailed for nine years.
Porcia Densley, a “finance manager”, was charged with collecting and distributing money on his instructions. She was sentenced to eight years in prison. Police seized the drugs in Bristol when surveillance officers saw cocaine worth between £320,000 and £400,000 being handed over to Allison’s cousin, Anthony Burke. The latter was jailed for eight years.
The cocaine was supplied by Albanians Ledian Hoxha and Pjeter Pisha. They fled the UK to escape arrest, but Hoxha was jailed for seven years and four months and Pisha was sentenced to six years and eight months.
Enid Aliko, 28, was jailed for four years after providing an encrypted device and acting as a contact for the Albanian crime group after the arrests. During the 12-week trial, brothers Allison and Cowell claimed the messages referred to fake clothes and not drugs.
