Unusual! The Albanian goes to operate on his left knee, they operate on his right

An unusual event happened with an Albanian from Kosovo, who chose to operate on his left leg in one of the hospitals in Skopje.

After problems with his left knee, Remzi Toçilla, from the city of Ferizaj, made an appointment at the private clinic in Skopje to perform the surgical intervention. But after the anesthesia wore off, he noticed that doctors had mistakenly operated on his right knee instead of his left.

Toçilla said that the doctors, since they were wrong, tried to justify themselves that the damaged left knee had caused the problem to appear on the other leg as well.

" After the operation, I went out to the room where I was placed. After the anesthesia wore off, I noticed that my left leg was not bandaged, but my right. I'm asking the doctor: Doctor, what happened? I came to operate on the left leg. What is this? He told me: I noticed that while trying to protect your left leg, you damaged your right, so I decided to operate on it. When the woman came there, she was waiting outside after the doctor's visit. When he came he was completely surprised. Now the brother was also outside waiting... They were all surprised! ", said Toçilla.

After hospital representatives realized the mistake, they offered to operate on his left knee for free, but he refused. The situation took a different course, when Toçilla consulted a second doctor, who told him that he did not need surgery on any of his legs.

" I also consulted with the other doctor. He told me thank goodness they didn't damage his right leg. They tried to do something, but they did nothing. They haven't damaged it or anything else, it's in the same condition. They improvised more. I propose that you do not continue any further, no surgical intervention ", said Koçilla.

The patient from Ferizaj had paid 1700 euros for the intervention, and in the end, instead of being cured, he is forced to spend even more money by hiring a lawyer to find justice.
