The execution of Roan Brahimi/ Greek police: He was killed for clearing accounts

Roan Brahimi, the 32-year-old Albanian was executed by firing squad on Thursday evening, May 9, in Athens.
The Greek police have come to the conclusion that the 32-year-old, father of a minor child, was executed for embezzlement in Albania, not in the neighboring country.
The 32-year-old was known to the Albanian authorities, as he was part of a criminal group and had previously been arrested for theft.
Greek media write that the 32-year-old recently feared for his life and was hiding in Dubai. He was in Greece for Easter.
Earlier it was revealed that Brahimi led a double life. He had family in Albania and also had a wife and children in Greece. His partner, Katerina Beqo, 37 years old, was with him in the car at the time of the execution.
Roan Brahimi was traveling on Thursday evening in a luxury Mercedes Benz A Class car, in the company of his wife, Katerina Beqo, when they were shot with a barrage of bullets. Two bullets have proved fatal for Brahim, one bullet that caught him in the head and another one a little below.
According to the Greek media, the perpetrators waited for the right moment to kill the 32-year-old as they did not want to endanger his son. As soon as the 7-year-old got out of the car and joined the children in the park to play, the perpetrators fired a volley of bullets at the car where the victim was.
The perpetrators of Roan Brahim's murder had also reserved the parking space for him. In addition to the fact that they had kept his wife and child under observation for a long time in Greece, waiting for Brahimi to join them, the perpetrators were one step ahead of the execution that took place on Thursday evening.
Roan Brahimi is a well-known name for the Albanian Police and is suspected of being involved in several serious criminal events.
