"This is international trafficking and for the investigation to be credible, it must be taken over by SPAK, but there must also be international cooperation. The ship traveled from Albania to Thailand and from Thailand to Albania. It is thought that the containers were also opened in Turkey. The prosecution would have found a laboratory if the state had the will. The Durrës prosecution cannot handle this issue. We in Albania do not have a laboratory and expert of this level. Even the AKB, which is certified, has not taken over because it claims that it cannot perform these analyzes.
The Albanian state has no interest in clarifying this issue. It involves a number of institutions. If the Albanian government wants, a laboratory abroad will be hired and the answer will come in three weeks.
The Durrës Prosecutor's Office must declare its lack of jurisdiction. This case is a transnational crime, has involvement in several countries and should have been taken over from the beginning by SPAK. For this to happen, an act from the prosecutor of the case is required.
