The Carabinieri of the Meda Station in Italy arrested in flagrante delicto an Albanian citizen, legally resident in the country, 36 years old, resident in Cesano Maderno, for the criminal offenses of illegal possession of narcotics and illegal possession of weapons.

A patrol, during a patrol service, conducted a roadside check on a car, the driver of which immediately showed clear signs of nervousness and anxiety.

Following an investigation at the scene, the man was found to have a cellophane wrapper containing approximately 7 grams of cocaine and a finger cleaner, stored in the glove compartment of the dashboard. Under the floor of the vehicle's trunk, in addition to a baseball bat, a small plastic bag containing an additional two grams of cocaine was found.

During a subsequent search of the man's apartment, three plastic bags containing a total of 2 kilograms and 300 grams of cocaine were found inside a wardrobe, as well as a precision electronic scale for weighing the narcotic substance and packaging material.

In the same room, a 7.65 caliber pistol was found on the dresser, without a serial number, brand or other identifying mark, ready to use, with a 7-round magazine, and an air pistol.

In connection with the discovery of a large quantity of narcotics and an illegally held weapon, which turned out to be clandestine, the Albanian citizen was arrested and, at the conclusion of the formalities, by order of the Public Prosecutor in charge of the Monza Public Prosecutor's Office, he was sent to the capital's district prison.
