"Lengo Group" imported it from Germany/ AKU blocks hazelnut cream with salmonella: Health hazard!

Another case of concern for food safety has been signaled by the European RASFF system regarding hazelnut cream with cocoa that is found to be contaminated with Salmonella spp, imported from Germany. According to the alert issued by the RASFF system, this product poses a serious risk to human health.
Specifically, we are talking about the product Nudossi Haselnuss-Nougat-Crème (300 g), imported to Albania by the company "Lengo Group".
The National Food Authority has carried out the relevant verifications at the importing entity "Lengo Group", where the imported quantity of this product, totaling 18.3 kg, was ascertained, with the destination being its destruction.
From the verifications carried out, it results that the quantity sold to the end consumer is 8.7 kg, for which the entity has made a notification in the trading environment.
The National Food Authority calls on consumers to return this product to the point of sale where they purchased it, if they are able to.
