Champions League/ Draw simulation, Arsenal are placed in a "group from hell"

Today's much-anticipated draw in the Champions League has been simulated and the goggles have scared Arsenal fans.
The 2024-25 season of Europe's elite club competition has undergone a revolution and this will be the inaugural season of the tournament's new format. The old 32-team format, which existed since 1967, is now a thing of the past. It has been replaced by a new structure, including 36 of Europe's top clubs, but they will not compete in the traditional group stage. The 36 teams will compete in a championship format, in which they will play eight games.
In the new composition, each team will play four matches at home and four matches away. The teams will be drawn into four pots and will play two opponents from each pot. The eight best teams will automatically secure qualification for the 1/8, while the teams ranked from ninth to 24th place will participate in a "play off" with two matches. Teams finishing 25th and below will be eliminated from the tournament and will not be relegated to the Europa League, as was the case in the old format for the third-placed teams in the group. The draw takes place today at 18:00 in Monaco. In one of his simulations, Arsenal is ranked in the so-called "Group of Hell".
The draw simulated through a super-computer has placed the "Gunners" in pot 2 in the draw, against the European giants of Bayern Munich and Real Madrid. PSG, Juventus, Sporting Lisbon and PSV Eindhoven make up the Londoners' opponents from Pot 2 and Pot 3. Arsenal reached the quarter-finals of last season's Champions League after a five-year absence from the competition. Mikel Arteta's men were knocked out by Bayern Munich, losing 3-2 on aggregate.
