"They are known for drug trafficking, a powerful group!"/ Lala:

Journalist Klodiana Lala, invited to the show "The Unexposed" on MCN TV, spoke about the operation between SPAK and the Italian anti-mafia, which hit a drug trafficking group based in Durrës. 

Lala said that the Troplini group is historically known for drug trafficking and is a powerful group, but added that the person presumed by the Italians to be the leader of the group, Xhevdet Troplini, has not been charged and is today in his home without security measures. 

"The Troplini group has historically been known for trafficking heroin first and then cocaine. Xhevdet Troplini was arrested, served time in prison and released. In 2005, one million euros in cash was found on him.

Troplini is now in his own home, completely free. He only has access to his nephews and his social and family circle. He himself has no official charges, although he has been questioned about some of the most serious criminal events in Durrës.

The testimony of Nuredin Dumani served to open a criminal investigation in 2020. This was the foundation of the story and the starting point for this criminal case. The convicts had information and the Italians received the testimony of Nuredin Dumani. Dumani was questioned by the anti-mafia prosecutor. Money laundering was also uncovered. 

"We have 6 seized commercial companies and a cable television in Vlora. There is a restraining order against the owner Nexhmedin Danaj, he was laundering money, the last transfer was caught. They took the money and brought it to Tirana through a transport company," Lala said, among other things.
