Albania-Italy operation for international drug trafficking gang! Former prosecutor: Albanian mafia has characteristics of the 'Ndrangheta!

Former serious crimes prosecutor, Besnik Muçi, spoke today on the "Log." show on News 24, moderated by Endri Xhafo, about the joint Albania-Italy operation against international drug trafficking, within the framework of which dozens of arrests were executed.
Regarding this, Besnik Muçi said that the way Italian prosecutors handled Operation "Bridge" and the way they referred to Albanian crime showed that Albanian organized crime has reached the level of the mafia.
He further said that the Albanian mafia resembles the 'Ndrangheta mafia.
Besnik Muçi: I think our mafia is really big.
Two things impressed me: first, the natural use by the prosecution of the Italian mafia. They were discussing the Albanian mafia in Tirana as if they were talking about Nderagheta. It means that in their view, Albanian organized crime has reached the level of the mafia.
The Albanian mafia has characteristics mainly of the 'Ndrangheta, they are separate cells that operate in certain fields and are interconnected with each other.
The mafia in what we call the mafia can be both a criminal organization and a structured criminal group.
The mafia is related to some specific elements, the mafia has profit as its basic principle. And what impresses me and should be worrying for Albanian institutions, is the fact that not even the Italian prosecution trusted SPAK, and none of them trusted the Albanian police.
