A car catches fire in Durrës

A vehicle caught fire this Sunday afternoon near the Venetian Tower, in the city of Durrës.

The incident occurred at around 17:15, while the vehicle was in motion. Preliminary information indicates that the vehicle was equipped with a gasoline-gas system and it is suspected that the fire was caused by a technical defect.

Fortunately, there were no reports of injuries, only material damage. The driver managed to get out of the vehicle in time.

The intervention of a fire engine made it possible to extinguish the flames.
