The prosecution has seized the phones of two nurses arrested in connection with the murder of Virgil Vesho by Zyhdi Shehi in an asylum. Head nurse Nazime Mulla and subordinate Glesantina Saraçi were filmed trying to hide the incident.
It is not clear whether they acted under someone else's orders or independently. The prosecution has also requested the health records of Shehi and Vesho to help investigate the case, but these have not yet been reviewed to confirm the details of the attack.
Shehi said that he killed Vesho after he entered his room and bullied him. According to asylum staff, there had been no previous conflicts between them.
The prosecutor has not yet sent the request for setting the security measure to the court and there is no information on whether other verifications have been carried out on the conditions and protocols in the asylum.
