Return of Americans to SPAK! US Embassy Reaction: Some Programs Essential to US National Interests

The return of OPDAT experts to SPAK and FBI experts to BKH is considered a national interest by President Trump's administration.

This is indicated by the comment of an official of the US Embassy in Tirana after being asked by Top Channel journalist Muhamed Veliu what the return of these experts last week was related to. The response sent via email exclusively to Top Channel states:

“In accordance with President Trump’s January 20 Executive Order Reassessing and Reorganizing United States Foreign Assistance, Secretary Rubio initiated a review of all U.S. foreign assistance to ensure that programs are effective and consistent with U.S. foreign policy under the ‘America First’ agenda. Several programs deemed essential to U.S. national interests have resumed, while the foreign assistance review is still ongoing.”/ TCH
