About 500 thousand euros, apartment and garage, Alda Klos' assets are confiscated! The cleaner stole the money and hid it in the suction pipes

The Tirana Court has confiscated the assets of Alda Klos and her ex-husband, including an apartment, a garage and an amount of around 500 thousand euros.
The former senior official, who has been included as a declaration subject in the HIDACCI since 2016, has not declared her assets, which she does not justify with legal sources of income.
– Monetary amount 368,000 lek, 15,600 dollars and 462,950 euros
– Apartment with usable area of 85.09 m2 with property number 6/572+1-35, ZK 8210, Vol. 42, Pg 127 property located in Tirana, owned by citizen AK; and
-Garage with a usable area of 14.06 m2, property located in Tirana, owned by citizen AK
At the request of the Tirana Prosecution Office, the assets of citizen AK and her ex-husband are confiscated
At the request of the Prosecutor's Office at the Court of First Instance of General Jurisdiction in Tirana, the court confiscated the assets of citizen AK and her ex-husband, accused of the criminal offense of 'Refusal to declare, failure to declare, concealment or false declaration of assets, private interests of elected persons and public servants or of any other person who has a legal obligation to declare' provided for by article 257/a/2 of the Criminal Code.
From property proceeding no. 05, 2022, it resulted that the defendant/subject of the property investigation AK, who has been included as a declaration subject in the HIDAKCI since 2016, has not declared to this institution the property that does not justify it with legal sources of income.
From the analysis of the facts and the administered documentation it results that the real estate properties of the apartment and garage type, owned by her and by the related person, are assets not justified by legal income. These real estate properties were hidden and were not declared in the ILDKPI declarations by the investigated person AK.
In accordance with the above, as well as with Articles 3, 5, 7, 12/b, 14, 15 to 22, 23, 24, 28-38 and following, of Law No. 10192 dated 03/12/2009 “On the Prevention and Suppression of Organized Crime and Trafficking through Preventive Measures against Property”, as amended, and with Article 302 of the Code of Civil Procedure, at the request of the Prosecutor's Office at the Court of First Instance of General Jurisdiction in Tirana, the following assets were confiscated:
– The monetary amount of 368,000.00 (three hundred and sixty-eight thousand) Lekë, 15,600.00 (fifteen thousand and six hundred) USD American dollars, 462,950.00 (four hundred and sixty-two thousand and nine hundred and fifty) Euros, seized for the account of criminal proceedings no. 9220/2022 and cashed into the account of the Prosecutor's Office on 10.01.2023;
– Apartment with usable area of 85.09 m2 with property number 6/572+1-35, ZK 8210, Vol. 42, Pg 127 property located in Tirana, owned by citizen AK; and
-Garage with a usable area of 14.06 m2, property located in Tirana, owned by citizen AK
The Court of Appeals on October 3, 2024, upheld the decision to sentence Alda Klos to 2.6 years in prison. She benefited from a shortened trial and was ultimately sentenced to 1.8 years in prison.
The appeal also upheld the sentence of Klos cleaner Rozeta Dobi to 4.8 years in prison and her son Javier Dobi to 3 years in prison.
The arrest of the former senior official came after the investigation of her police report regarding the theft of hundreds of thousands of euros from her apartment.
Following the report of the theft of Klos' apartment on Kosovarev Street in Tirana last December, police arrested Rozeta Dobi and Javier Dobi, mother and son, on charges of theft after a considerable amount of money was found in their home, while several cars were seized from Javier.
500 THOUSAND EUROS IN THE ASPIRATION PIPE
The incident for which mother and son, Rozeta and Javier Dobi, were arrested originated in December 2022 when former senior official Alda Klosi reported to the police the theft of hundreds of thousands of euros in an apartment on Kosovars Street in Tirana. In January 2023, police arrested Rozeta Dobi and Javier Dobi, mother and son, on charges of theft after 404,800 euros, 8,500 dollars and gold accessories were found in their home, which were hidden in the suction pipe of their apartment.
While Javier had two cars seized. Alda Klosi herself had filed a complaint for the theft of 120 thousand euros, 30 thousand dollars and jewelry. After the arrest, the 'repentant' cleaner of justice said that she took 400 thousand euros from Alda Klosi's house.
A month later, in February 2023, the former official was arrested and continued to deny that the amount of money found in the aspiration tube did not belong to her, even though Rozeta Dobi indicated that the money had been taken there!
