TNT explosion near a bar in Patoku Lagoon

A suspected TNT explosion occurred on the morning of March 27, 2025 in the Patoku Lagoon, causing damage to an area about 50 meters away from a bar.

The news was announced by citizen ZT, who notified the police about the incident.

The explosives were placed in several outdoor bathrooms, which were located far from the bar.

It is not yet known whether it was TNT or some other explosive substance, but samples from the scene have been sent for examination to specialized laboratories in Tirana.

Meanwhile, authorities continue investigations to uncover the causes and circumstances of this explosion, while police have increased their presence in the area to secure the perimeter of the incident.
