"Engaged to fight terrorism and crime", Rrumbullak's meeting with the charge d'affaires from the US Embassy is clarified

The Director General of the State Police, Muhamet Rrumbullaku, received the Chargé d'Affaires of the US Embassy in Albania, David Wisner, and members of the team of the law enforcement sections at the Embassy in the premises of the General Directorate. The visit, to further the solid partnership and cooperation so far, between US law enforcement, the US Embassy in Albania, and the State Police, in order to guarantee the implementation of the law.

The General Director thanked the Chargé d'Affaires of the American Embassy and other representatives of the embassy for the visit, as well as for the support and trust. Also, he assured them that the State Police is a reliable partner of the USA, as well as that it is maximally committed to fighting terrorism and organized crime, in close cooperation with strategic allies and other international partners.

Further, Wisner thanked the State Police for its efforts in the fight against organized crime, drug trafficking, as well as for the effort for a safer Albania. Wisner and other representatives appreciated the cooperation so far between US law enforcement, the US Embassy in Albania, and the State Police, and expressed willingness to further intensify this cooperation.
