Tirana Police have clarified the incident that occurred overnight in the Paris Municipality, where a 28-year-old man, identified as Kristian Kaçorri, was injured with a gunshot wound.
The capital's police report that the young man had accidentally shot himself with a pistol in a bar.
Police say they arrested the 28-year-old, as well as two other people, AC, 33, and AM, 30, and have declared 41-year-old EE wanted.
"From the investigations so far, it is suspected that the 28-year-old accidentally self-injured himself, in the premises of a bar in the Commune of Paris, with a firearm, which he possessed without a permit. Currently, this citizen is under the care of doctors and out of danger to his life.
Meanwhile, citizens A. C and E. E took the firearm and the cartridge and hid them in an area outside the bar, while citizen A. M (the bar's waiter) covered the scene of the incident," the police say.
Police report
He shot himself with a firearm he possessed without a permit, the 28-year-old was arrested.
Two other citizens were arrested and another was declared wanted after they helped hide the firearm and the crime scene.
The firearm, a pistol, is seized.
After receiving a report that at around 01:20, on 18.05.2025, a citizen with an injured leg had gone to the hospital for treatment, the services of Police Commissariat No. 2 launched investigations with the aim of clarifying the circumstances and documenting them, and as a result of rapid investigative and professional actions, they ultimately arrested the following citizens:
KK, 28 years old, AC, 33 years old and AM, 30 years old, all three residents of Tirana. As well as citizen EE, 41 years old, resident of Kucova, are wanted.
