A 41-year-old man has been arrested by Tirana police, as part of the operation codenamed "The Holder". According to the capital's police, 2 firearms, a pistol and a rifle, 1 sporting weapon, 1 cold weapon, combat ammunition and police emblems were seized from this person.
During the operation, on Dibra Street, the Police initially stopped the vehicle driven by citizen Saimir Allmuça. During the search of the vehicle, a cold weapon (knife) was found and seized.
"Furthermore, during the search of this citizen's apartment, the Police services found and seized 2 firearms (pistol and rifle), 1 sporting weapon, 1 cold weapon, combat ammunition and police emblems," the police say.
