French media continue to report on the decision of the Court of Appeal in Amiens, which left Albanian businessman Ermal Beqiri in prison.
He was arrested in France after he was piloting a small plane that flew over a nuclear power plant.
“He is arrested, brought before the prosecutor and on July 27 is tried in Amiens for unauthorized flight over the nuclear facility, as part of the procedure of admission of guilt. He is sentenced to a fine of 7,000 euros, an amount that for this man, described as a millionaire, is almost a minor inconvenience,” writes Courrier Picard.
According to French media, Ermal Beqiri's assets in France are being examined by authorities.
Among them is a castle in the Oise department in northern France, which is considered to be worth 2.6 million euros.
The newspaper published a photo of the castle, while emphasizing that it is about the castle of Auteuil south of Beauvais.
