The leader of the Democratic Party, Sali Berisha, has made strong accusations at the meeting of the Parliamentary Group, towards the 5-month protest of youth and Albanians against the 36-year-old corrupt political caste, according to him, the Rama-Balluku duo seized the grand protest, while the microphone band allowed only those who said 'Rama in prison, Berisha in prison' to speak.

Sali Berisha:

First, I must gratefully thank all those MPs, citizens, members of the DP structures, its supporters, in particular the members of GRUD, students and high school students of the universities of Tirana for their active contribution to the historical developments in Albania.

That's what I consider the student revolt to be.

I would like to thank the party's legal team for their commitment to the full potential of the legal defense of hundreds and hundreds of students and protesters over the past two weeks.

I would like to thank the doctors for the support and assistance they have provided, as well as the MPs who have attended to the injured in the country's hospitals.

I condemn in the strongest possible terms the savage, barbaric violence exerted by the narco-state, by Edi Rama and his drug gangs against peaceful protesters.

No protesters were beaten, none of them were involved in any act of violence.

And, in hundreds of cases, the courts themselves have found illegal arrests.

Ladies and gentlemen, the period from June 1st until two weeks ago was a unique period in the history of the Democratic Party.

The DP, which was born in protest, is a party that was born in protest, it is a party that if it had a second surname, a second name, would be called the Democratic Party of Protest of Albania. 

The Democratic Party was in periodic protests when a civic protest broke out, I would say the most magnificent that Albania has known in its entire history.

In respect of its civic character, the DP defined several principles of attitude towards this protest.

First, no attempt to take over or divide it.

At first there were Democrats who went with megaphones, with the best of intentions. The megaphone and everything was taken away.

Maximum participation in the protest.

For the first time, meetings have been held at this headquarters for that protest, more than ever in its history for participation in a protest.

But I must say here, that magnificent protest, unprecedented in the history of the country, was led by the infamous duo Rama-Balluku.

Now I must tell the Albanians that the microphone controllers, villains like them, only gave the microphone to those who took on the slogan 'Rama in prison, Berisha in prison' and were the only exception who could get it.

Every person who appeared at the microphone booth received instructions on what to say.

The truth is, if I show you the dialogue of one of them, with contempt and contempt he said: I am not here for you, because I never come out for you. But I am for my ideals.
