With humorous and ironic notes, the Italian media shows details from the 'human lives' of the cardinals.
At the “Caffè dei Papi” (the inevitable) on Via Vespasiano, between the Vatican Museums and St. Peter’s Square, retired Archbishop Anselmo Guido Pecorari, 79, of Mantua, stopped for a sandwich and a small beer after Mass on the second day of the novena of prayers:

Santa Marta, where Pope Francis lived and died, is the residence that will house the cardinal voters during the Conclave.
— “It’s like a hotel, so you have to be careful,” — adds Archbishop Pecorari. — “I can’t tell you his name because he’s a close friend of mine, but a foreign cardinal, who thought everything was free, invited some colleagues to his room to chat after dinner, and they finished all the small liqueurs in the minibar.
