Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan held a telephone conversation with his French counterpart Emmanuel Macron.
Erdogan stressed that Turkey is making intensive efforts to strengthen the field of diplomacy and return to the negotiating table on Iran.
The Turkish president also underlined that "the prolongation of the conflict in Iran would be a source of destabilization for both the region and the entire world," adding that greater defense cooperation is needed among NATO allies.
