Bomb threat at Vienna's main railway stations

Several train stations in Austria have been forced to close in response to bomb threats in recent days, a police spokesman said. "Threats so far have targeted stations in state capitals. We are taking this very seriously," the spokesperson emphasized.
The threats were made on Wednesday evening in connection with the stations of Sait Polten, Salzburg and Klagenfurt, on Tuesday at the main station of Linz and on Monday at the main station of Graz.
All stations had to be closed and train traffic was suspended for several hours.
The threats have reached the police through emails where it was said that explosives could explode in the respective stations.
The National Secret Service authorities are investigating the series of threats. The state-owned Austrian railway company (OBB) declined to comment.
