With Elon Musk's Starship, we are expected to fly within 1 hour, to any country in the world

SpaceX, led by Elon Musk, is moving ahead with plans to revolutionize global travel, aiming to transport passengers between major cities in less than an hour using the Starship rocket.
This 120-meter high spacecraft, built of stainless steel, is capable of reaching speeds of up to 27,000 km/h, much faster than the fastest commercial airplanes, which reach around 1,000 km/h.
A Twitter user, @ajtourville, speculated that under former President Donald Trump's administration, the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) could have approved SpaceX's ambitious plans for Earth-to-Earth travel within a few years. Musk confirmed the feasibility of this idea, answering 'now it is possible.'
The billionaire, who is expected to co-head the Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE) with Vivek Ramaswamy, pointed out that the project gained momentum after Trump's re-election.
Originally conceived about a decade ago, the plan calls for the Starship to accommodate up to 1,000 passengers, climb into orbit and travel parallel to Earth's surface to reach its destination.
According to the Daily Mail, passengers will experience high G-forces during takeoff and landing, as well as low-gravity conditions during flight, requiring seat belts to remain fastened at all times.
Although the concept has transformative potential, major regulatory and safety challenges remain as SpaceX moves toward realizing this revolutionary vision.
Elon Musk has reaffirmed SpaceX's ambition to revolutionize global travel using the Starship rocket, which offers sub-hour journeys between cities around the world.
In a 2019 tweet, Musk described the Starship as an 'ICBM missile traveling at Mach 25,' with a maximum flight time of 15 to 20 minutes, eliminating the need for traditional aircraft services such as lavatories, galleys or the space for pilots.
Musk stressed safety during the flights, stating that passengers will likely remain strapped in, comparing the experience to Disney's Space Mountain attraction.
" You will go to another continent" , he added, emphasizing the unprecedented speed and efficiency of the rocket.
Proposed duration of Starship flights
London to New York: 29 minutes
Los Angeles to London: 32 minutes
London to Hong Kong: 34 minutes
London to Cape Town: 34 minutes
San Francisco to Delhi: 40 minutes
New York to Sydney: 49 minutes
For example, the flight from San Francisco to Delhi, which is currently operated by Air India (AI) for about 15 hours, would take just 40 minutes with Starship.
That's a 95 percent reduction in time, making it 22 times faster than the current fastest travel technology.
