Powerful explosions in Tel Aviv, Israel Defense Forces publishes photo: The whole country is on fire from Iranian missiles

The conflict between Iran and Israel has entered an alarming new phase. Iran officially launched a retaliatory attack on Israel on Friday evening, according to reports from the Iranian state news agency IRNA.

The Israel Defense Forces (IDF) confirmed in a statement on the X network (formerly Twitter) that: “All of Israel is under fire from Iranian missiles.”

According to CNN correspondents on the ground, powerful explosions were heard in Tel Aviv, while air raid sirens echoed across large parts of the country.

The Israeli military has identified missiles launched from Iranian territory towards Israel, while air defense systems have been put into operation to interrupt and neutralize the attacks.

"Defense systems are operational and are attempting to intercept incoming rockets," the IDF's official statement said.

Israeli authorities have called on the public to immediately seek shelter in protected areas, as the situation is dynamic and rapidly escalating.
