Video/ The boxing match in the USA degenerates into a fight, the police enters the ring

Unsportsmanlike scenes took place in the Wheeling ring in West Virginia in the United States at the end of the boxing match between Zach Abel and Mikey Bets, which closed the program of the Rough N'Rowdy 25 event organized by the American blog Barstool Sports.

The decision of the arbitrators, in fact, caused a real uproar which ended with the intervention of the police in the ring and the arrest of one of the two boxers and several members of his staff.

Although most spectators believed that Zach Abel had easily won the bout, the referees actually crowned Mikey Betts the winner of the match, causing loud protests among viewers watching the match online and those present in the arena. And it was the same for the boxer declared defeated.

Shortly after the judges' decision was announced, Zach Abel and his brother Spencer (also a boxer) rushed to Barstool Sports owner Dave Portnoy to challenge the decision and ask for a review, but didn't get one.
At that point, the two returned to the ring, sparking a massive brawl with members of both teams exchanging punches with each other while some attempted to restrain the two brothers.

A video circulating online shows the punch that ignited the brawl and Zach Abel landing a left hook to the face of someone in the opposing corner, the same one that his brother Spencer then lunged at).

The altercation continued to become more and more violent with more and more people involved and thus, to calm things down and bring the situation to an end, it was necessary for the intervention of police officers and security personnel who were quickly entered the ring, stopping the two brothers who had started everything.

Both, despite repeated efforts to free themselves, were handcuffed and taken to the region.

An absurd scene that ended the Rough N'Rowdy event attracted attention with footage that went around the world, as soon as the post-match video of fights and arrests went viral on social media.
