VIDEO/ Stunning view! Niagara Falls freezes

Low temperatures have turned Niagara Falls into a real spectacle. The waterfall has frozen over, offering a breathtaking view for tourists.
Niagara Falls borders New York and Canada, which have been hit by snowfall. Niagara Falls is one of the most visited tourist destinations in the world in good weather, but in the freezing temperatures of January and February it turns into a stunning panorama.
One of the most severe cases of the Falls freezing occurred in the winter of 1848. During a severe cold snap, winds shifted large amounts of ice across Lake Erie, leading to the accumulation of millions of tons of ice that blocked Niagara Falls.
