"I would have ethnically cleansed Kosovo"/ Serbian Minister apologizes to Vučić but not to Albanians: Taken out of context

Serbia's Minister of State Administration and Local Self-Government, Snezhana Paunovic, has apologized for her scandalous statement that she would ethnically cleanse Kosovo if she were in Slobodan Milosevic's shoes. However, she is addressing this apology to President Aleksandar Vučić and Prime Minister Đuro Macu, not to Kosovo Albanians.
Paunovic justified herself by saying that her statement was taken out of context and that only a 7-second segment of the interview was cut.
But, in the interview broadcast by the media where she gave the interview, she is clearly heard saying that "if she had been in Slobodan Milosevic's place in 1998, she would have ethnically cleansed Kosovo."
"This was my story, not a political statement. It's uncomfortable for me to have to explain that this is not the president's or the government's policy," she said.
The Serbian minister also claimed that she was talking about the removal of those who "did not feel part of the Federal Republic of Yugoslavia", while people who would choose "terrorist acts" would be treated as terrorists.
She described the decision of the Kosovo authorities to declare him persona non grata as paradoxical, stating that the decision to “permanently ban” him from entering Kosovo was taken by what she called “the provisional institutions of Kosovo”.
