While the Mirdita woman's clothing was recently declared a National Cultural Heritage Value, Mrika, an elderly woman from Mirdita's Kaçinari, maintains 200-year-old Mirdita clothing in her home, in a deep area. Although she has moved to Durrës, she returns time and time again to take care of the inherited clothes, which, in the absence of a museum, she has to keep at home.

The Mirdita woman's clothes were part of the exhibition, opened in the "House of Europe" in Tirana, "Mirdita in photography". The exhibition shows works in the medium of photography where Nadia Abazi has captured images of the towers. A separate space in the exhibition is dedicated to the place of collective memory of the Spaç prison camp, with the video installation entitled "Saharaja" by the interdisciplinary artist, Abi Shehu.

The exhibition on Mirdita, supported by "Eu for Culture", also displays handicrafts and traditional works of the area, while the opening was attended by cultural and political figures of the area and diplomats from the delegation of the European Union in Tirana.
