Mario Dine is a graffiti artist who has recently gone viral on the web through videos of his work. Invited to "ABC of Morning", he showed that his goal was not to become famous, but to exercise his passion.
Mario told how he first switched from painting to graffiti, which today provides him with a lot of income. He emphasized that there is no better way to turn your passion into a profession.
" For me, the motive is not for the videos to go viral. I have been making videos for 8 years and lately they are going viral, even in 6 years they have not gone viral. This shows that I did not do this for the sake of getting popularity, that this is a bonus. But my main motive is that after I do the whole process of artistic work, I have a video, however short, so that I can remember the whole process and see why not when I'm a grandfather. It's the most beautiful thing.
They have actually come gradually with each other. Painting started around sixth grade, I was somewhere around 10 years old. Then, evolving, experimenting, with different techniques. I discovered graffiti, I watched on YouTube, how graffiti was used, and for children it was something very fascinating. I decided to make the first paintings, which normally were not very good. But just the idea that I could learn it. Years passed, I didn't practice it every day, I practiced it once a month, every two months, whenever I had free time. I never had it as a matter of priority, but over time I improved it and turned it into a profession. There is nothing more beautiful, when a hobby turns into a profession", said Mario, among other things.
