This parasite is transmitted to humans from cats and lives inside the retina of the eye. A more recent study has shown similar results in humans. The study took a sample of 178 uninfected people and 35 who were infected.
All infected individuals were judged to be healthier and more beautiful, and both infected males and females had more symmetrical faces, more sexual partners.
Infected individuals were also shown to have more symmetry overall. Despite the results of all the studies conducted, scientists still do not understand how exactly the parasite affects the human brain in order to make people more attractive.
Based on this theory, if scientists understand the process, they can reproduce the same action, making everyone more attractive than they are.
