26 years since liberation, US Embassy in Kosovo: June 12, 1999, a turning point! It brought hope and security

The US Embassy in Pristina commemorated today the 26th anniversary of the liberation and entry of NATO forces into Kosovo.

The US Embassy writes that on this anniversary, they honor the resilience of the people of Kosovo and their shared commitment to building a future based on peace, security, and prosperity.

“Today marks 26 years since NATO forces entered Kosovo, bringing hope, security and a path to peace. June 12, 1999 was a turning point, a point that allowed displaced families to return and communities to begin rebuilding.

"On this anniversary, we honor the resilience of the people of Kosovo and our shared commitment to building a future based on peace, security, and prosperity," the US embassy wrote.
