LDK Chairman Lumir Abdixhiku has officially submitted his resignation to the delegates of the party's extraordinary assembly. He stressed that the final decision now belongs to this forum itself.
During his speech, Abdixhiku announced that with a full sense of responsibility he is submitting his resignation from the position of speaker to the Assembly, in order for the issue of the vote of confidence to be decided directly before the delegates, reports Dukagjini.
"Dear delegates, with full responsibility I am submitting my resignation from the position of chairman to the LDK Assembly, so that this Assembly can decide on the vote of confidence," said Abdixhiku.
He emphasized that this action is not intended to create crises or divisions within the party, but to clarify the political direction that should be followed in the future.
"I am not doing this to cause a crisis, but to clarify the path we should follow moving forward. I am not doing this to divide the LDK, but to strengthen and unite it," he said, addressing delegates with the question of how they see his continuation as chairman and the future of the party.
