Wanted by Interpol, Serb arrested in Kosovo

On Tuesday, the Kosovo Police arrested a citizen of Serbia in Zhetkovc, Zvečani, on suspicion of having committed the criminal offense of smuggling goods, removing or damaging official seals.

As the police announced, after the verification it turned out that he is a person wanted by Interpol.

" Fsh. Zhetkovc, Zvecan 10-11.11.2023 – 10:45. On 28.11.2023, the Serbian suspect, a citizen of Serbia, was arrested as a suspect in connection with the case. The same person related to the case was released after the interview. After the verification, the suspect turned out to be a person wanted by INTERPOL (by the authorities of Serbia) and by order of the prosecutor, he was taken into custody", says the 24-hour police report.
