Naim Murseli, Granit Plava and Kushtrim Kokalla are in custody in the High Security Prison, all three are suspected of the murder of Liridona Ademajt in Pristina.
The measure of detention has been extended by the Basic Court in Prishtina, while the Prosecutor's Office is continuing with the investigations related to the murder of Liridona Murseli, where it is suspected that her husband, Naim Murseli, had ordered her murder.
The Basic Prosecutor's Office in Pristina confirms for the Telegraph that the case is under investigation.
" We inform you that this criminal case is in the investigative procedure, for this reason we cannot provide additional information, until another stage ", said Laureta Ulaj, spokesperson of the Basic Prosecutor's Office in Prishtina, for the Telegraph.
Naim Murseli is suspected of ordering the murder of his wife Liridona Ademaj on November 29, 2023.
Two other people have been arrested for her murder, Granit Plava, who is suspected of having committed the murder, and Kushtrim Kokalla, who is suspected of having been involved in the planning of the murder.
According to the Prosecution's file, Naim Murseli had secured the weapon and equipped his hand with weapons and staged a robbery, which took place on Wednesday, November 29 of this year at around 8:25 p.m. on "Dalip Alshiqi " street.
According to the file, while Naim Murseli with his wife and two children were in their car, the suspect Granit Plava suddenly appeared in front of the car with a measure on his head and a revolver in his hand, where according to the preliminary agreement, the defendant Naim Murseli and the children got out of the car and left from the scene he tried to run away, while the now deceased Liridona Murseli remained in the car. She had not managed to get out of the car, as it is suspected that she was shot in the neck with a bullet, remaining dead on the spot.
Meanwhile, in his statement to the police, Naim Murseli stated that they had marital problems and that they had made it impossible to continue their relationship, but according to him, he was not informed that Plava would commit the murder that day. The statements of Granit Plava and Kushtrim Kokalla were different. Plava had said that Murseli had been pressuring him to kill his wife for some time and that he was forced to because he had financial and health problems.
Meanwhile, Kokalla has stated that he was not aware of the murder of Liridona Ademaj. There have been numerous reactions to the murder of Liridona Ademaj, where maximum punishment was demanded for the people who committed the murder. Liridona Ademaj left behind two children.
