The Special Prosecution Office indicts a Bosnian man accused of killing three Albanians in Gjakova

The Special Prosecution of the Republic of Kosovo, following the developments of the investigation, has today filed an indictment at the Basic Court in Pristina - Special Department, against the defendant J. Sh. of Bosniak nationality, for committing the criminal offense: "War crime against the civilian population".
The announcement states that the defendant is accused of participating in the murder of three Albanian civilians during the war in Kosovo, which occurred in the Dyla family's house in Gjakova. Investigations have also revealed that the defendant participated in the expulsion of the Dyla family and the destruction of their property.
This criminal case has now been transferred to the jurisdiction of the Special Department of the Basic Court in Pristina for further proceedings.
The defendant is under detention according to the decision of the Pre-Trial Judge until a new decision by the court.
