The President of Kosovo, Vjosa Osmani, after expressing her will in the parliamentary by-elections, gave a message to citizens, but also to political parties.
In a statement to the media, Osmani expressed confidence that the election results would lead to the creation of a parliament and a government.
"I hope that today our republic will have peaceful and democratic elections, elections with massive participation of citizens. Elections are an important democratic process where decision-making returns to our citizens. I hope that the results will result in the creation of the parliament and government of Kosovo. I want to thank the institutions for making this process as orderly as possible," said Osmani.
He also had a message for the political class: "This has been my message all along. I am convinced that political parties will find a way forward to have functional institutions with full legitimacy."
