Today, the 17th continuation of the session for the constitution of the ninth legislature of the Assembly of Kosovo will be held.
The continuation of the session is scheduled to begin at 10:30.
The process has stalled in the election of the Speaker of the Assembly, where the Democratic Party of Kosovo, the Democratic League of Kosovo, and the Alliance for the Future of Kosovo have declared that they do not have votes for the candidate of the Vetëvendosje Movement, Albulena Haxhiu.
LVV has stated that their only candidate is Albulena Haxhiu, while they are attempting to enable secret voting through a Commission vote.
On Thursday, the country's president met with party leaders in an attempt to find a solution, a meeting that was said to have yielded no concrete results.
