A serious incident has occurred in Kosovo, in the city of Malisheva, where a 35-year-old father and his two children, aged 9 and 12, lost their lives. Initial suspicions are that the cause of this tragedy is a fire inside the apartment.
A relative of the family has spoken about the incident. She recounts the first moments of the incident, revealing that the two children were taken to the hospital lifeless.
"When I went out the door, the children were in my sister-in-law's hands. I don't know much, but I tried to see if they had a pulse, they had no signs of life. I quickly took the children, put them in the car and sent them away quickly. That's it, I can't take it anymore. I couldn't even kiss them or hug them one last time.
"They have made me very sad. The father of the boys is my uncle's son, I had both children as my own. I am in a very bad condition. The children were without signs of life. They had no pulse, they were completely pale," she says.
The prosecutor in the case, Ardita Beqiraj Hyseni, stated that there was arson, but the exact cause is still unknown.
"The causes are still unknown, all teams are at the scene. The fire expert is at the scene. There is smoke at the scene and there was arson, but how it happened is not yet known," said the prosecutor.
