Elections in Kosovo/ Foreign media comment on Exit polls: The ruling party does not get an absolute majority, it will need a coalition to form a government

Foreign media outlets such as the BBC and Reuters have commented on the results of exit polls published after the close of voting in Kosovo. They write that, according to the results, Albin Kurti's ruling party is expected to lead the elections but may not achieve an absolute majority to form a sole government.
"This time Vetëvendosje is expected to win 38.2% of the vote, according to the exit poll on TV Klan Kosova. The opposition Democratic Party of Kosovo will come in second with 22.4% of the vote, with the Democratic League of Kosovo with 20.1%," writes the Reuters news agency, citing the Klan Kosova Exit Poll.
"The election result would be a decline from the more than 50% that Prime Minister Albin Kurti's party won in 2021," the article further states, while also mentioning the fact that during the campaign, Kurti has ruled out the possibility of a coalition, claiming that he would win more than 50% of the vote.
